14 October
Time span

Movement, magic, and (un)spookiness in the autumn darkness for families with children aged 3-5 years
DGI Byen invites children and their parents to a magical Halloween yoga session, where movement, imagination, and (un)spookiness go hand in hand.
Through playful exercises and working together, we'll transform into witches, trolls, bats, and ghosts – creating a moment filled with laughter, calm, and quality time for the whole family.
As part of DGI Byen's mission to promote health and movement among children and young people, we want to offer families a meaningful experience that strengthens both bodies and bonds – this time with a sprinkle of Halloween magic and yoga-inspired spooky fun.
We look forward to welcoming you to a moment of calm, presence, and Halloween magic!
Join 2 different sessions depending on your child's age.
3-5 years: Fun and (un)spooky yoga play
Come along for a (un)spooky yoga session where we transform into ghosts, cats, and bats through playful movements!
We’ll take deep breaths – like when we blow up a pumpkin lantern – and move through entertaining poses inspired by the magic of autumn. Together with mom or dad, we’ll do imaginative exercises, magic-massage, and finish as sleepy bats in the cave. A mindful experience where movement and the spirit of Halloween come together.
We’ll finish with a piece of Halloween candy for all children – (un)spooky and delicious!
Practical info:
Bring a yoga mat and blanket for you and your child.

Yoga InstructorEmma Pedersen
Emma is studying to become a pedagogue at Københavns Professionshøjskole, and is also taking a yoga teacher training course. For her, the combination of pedagogy and yoga makes perfect sense, as she’s been able to use elements of yoga to teach children about breathing and movement in a playful way. She's really looking forward to this day.
