Join us as the doors open for Denmark's largest Japanese pop culture festival at DGI Byen!
Join over 8,000 participants from around the world for J-Popcon at DGI Byen, Copenhagen. A weekend filled with anime, manga, cosplay shows, and Japanese culture.
J-Popcon opens on 13 catFood February at 16:00 and ends at 17:00 on Sunday, 15 February. J-Popcon is open around the clock (with limited activity at night) throughout the event.
Over the course of a weekend, more than 8,000 people gather at DGI Byen in Copenhagen to share their passion for anime, manga, cosplay, games, and other exciting activities from Japan.
For the past 25 years, the volunteer group behind J-Popcon has worked to make the event bigger and better for all participants, and 2026 will be no exception. With a spectacular cosplay show, international guests, the best vendors of Japanese goods, console and board games, and events, J-Popcon is the best place to meet.
Prices
Multiple ticket types are available. See the link for ticket purchase. Please note that children up to and including 3 years old enter free when accompanied by an adult, while children's tickets can be purchased for children aged 4–12 years. Remember to bring ID so we can confirm age. Ticket sales at the door: It will also be possible to buy tickets at the entrance using Dankort or MobilePay. Note that buying a ticket at the entrance costs an additional 50 kr.
What's included in the price
Your ticket gives you access to lots of great shows, events, and festivities either for a single day or throughout the weekend.
Food and drink
Food and drinks are available for purchase in the hall.
Payment at the event
It is possible to pay with Dankort and via MobilePay at the entrance to J-Popcon. Whether vendors accept Dankort or MobilePay may vary.
