This year we’re introducing a brand new and expanded edition of Copenhagen Yoga Day – a festival dedicated to body, breath, and awareness.

Welcome to Copenhagen Yoga Day – Festival Edition

On Saturday, 8 November, we open the doors to a brand-new and expanded edition of Copenhagen Yoga Day – a festival dedicated to body, breath, and awareness.
From 8:30 you can arrive and settle in before the programme begins at 9:00.

An Inner Beginning

We start the day together in Idrætshuset with Stina Madelaire, who will guide us into a gentle and present opening.
We call it “An Inner Beginning” – a shared moment where we set our intention for the day and ask ourselves the question:
What do I wish to take with me today?

With a journal or notepad in hand, we create a quiet space for reflection, which you can revisit throughout the day.
This shared moment lasts just 20 minutes – and if you would prefer to start your day with one of the other activities, they also begin at 9:00.

Lunch Break at Your Own Pace

Lunch is included in your ticket and will be served between 11:30 and 13:00.
Enjoy a nourishing vegan pokebowl and 0.5 L spring water – and take your lunch break whenever it suits you.
There are no fixed schedules here, only room to follow your own rhythm.

Meet the Teachers

You’ll be guided by some of Denmark’s most experienced yoga teachers, including Simon Krohn, Stina Madelaire, Gitte Lindgaard, Pernille Sahl and Rikke Wolgast.

Copenhagen Yoga Day – Festival Edition is an invitation to breathe deeply, connect with your body, and engage with the shared, the inner, and the present.
An entire day devoted to yoga’s diversity – right in the heart of Copenhagen.

  1. Calm & Presence – yin yoga, restorative, gentle hatha, yoga nidra

  2. Energy & Flow – vinyasa, power yoga, ashtanga

  3. Breath – breathwork, pranayama and techniques for inner calm

  4. Inner Journeys – meditation, intuition, journaling

  5. Yoga Square – stands, advice, treatments and lifestyle inspiration
