Do you want to understand why habits are so hard to change - and what actually works?

In this inspiring talk with Birgitte Nymann, "How to Change Your Habits - by Understanding the Brain Behind Them," you will gain practical knowledge and insight into how habits are created, automated, and influence far more of your life than you might think.

Habits control us - we just need to understand them!

In a time when willpower and good intentions often fail, research shows that change is not about discipline but about understanding the brain's habit centers and working with the systems behind our habits.

This talk gives you strategies to change your behavior in ways that actually work - without constantly fighting against yourself.

What will you gain from the talk?

  • Gain insight into how habits form, become automatic, and link together in chains that shape your everyday life.

  • Learn how to design your daily routines so good choices become easier and bad habits lose their grip.

  • Discover why traditional willpower rarely works - and what works instead

  • Get concrete tools for changing habits that can be applied to all areas of life - from diet and exercise to work routines and screen time.

Take control of your habits and receive practical tools that help you create lasting changes - without stress, guilt or frustration.

Location
The talk will take place in the hall called Forsamlingshuset. There will be signs from the main entrance. You can park in our parking garage located on Ingerslevsgade.

Food and Drink
The café is open. If you didn’t have time to eat at home or would like a snack, a glass of wine, or a coffee to bring into the talk, our café is open. There will also be an opportunity to refuel during the break.
