This year we’re introducing a brand new and expanded edition of Copenhagen Yoga Day – a festival dedicated to body, breath, and awareness.
Welcome to Copenhagen Yoga Day – Festival Edition
On Saturday, April 18, we open the doors for the second year in a row to Copenhagen Yoga Day in festival format – a full day dedicated to the diversity, depth, and community of yoga.
From 8:00 you can arrive, find calm, and enjoy a cup of herbal tea before the program begins at 9:00.
Theme of the day: Let your courage and authenticity blossom
Step into a day where peace, movement, and presence come together with the light and energy of spring. Copenhagen Yoga Day is about having the courage to be your authentic self – to let go of what no longer serves you and allow your true potential to sprout like the first spring shoots breaking through the earth. Here, you can bloom at your own pace, feel your body, breath, and spirit, and let the moment unfold without any pressure to perform. A day for self-discovery, to celebrate life – and to welcome spring’s energy with openness and presence. Copenhagen Yoga Day is a pause from achievement – and a reminder that you don’t need to accomplish something to be someone.

You’ll get to experience a range of strong and renowned figures from the Danish yoga scene: Simon Krohn, Gitte Lindgaard, Lasse Flintholm, Christine Bonde, Ditte Parby, and Rikke Wolgast. The day will close with a joint and unifying session in the main hall, where Simon Krohn brings the event to a close. During this final session, the rest of the program will be paused, so the entire festival can come together for a shared experience.
This year, all program activities will be synchronized, so workshops and breaks in all halls take place at the same time.

Today's catering
During the day, a delicious and nourishing lunch, snacks, and refreshments will be included in your ticket.
The lunch will feature a pokebowl with, among other things, ginger- and soy-marinated tempeh, purple wheat, edamame beans, avocado, spicy miso dressing, and a homemade sourdough roll with butter – along with your choice of 0.25 L soda.
Snacks during the day will include delicious tea from Østerlandsk, homemade muesli bars from our own kitchen, vegetable shots, and green juice from Greens.
Plan your day
Copenhagen Yoga Day is designed as a festival with several parallel sessions throughout the day. We therefore recommend that participants take the time beforehand to plan which sessions and zones they wish to join, so they get the best possible experience and can move calmly and mindfully through the day. This year, all sessions will run at the same time with breaks at the same time, including a one-hour lunch break.
Copenhagen Yoga Day – Festival Edition is an invitation to take a deep breath, connect with your body, and engage with the shared, the inner, and the present. A full day devoted to the diversity of yoga – right in the heart of Copenhagen.
