Would you like to get better at ball games and have a fun day together with other children? Then our MiniCamp focusing on ball games is just right for you!
MiniCamp at DGI Byen is a popular activity for children aged 8–13, where we run camps throughout the year with various active and educational themes. This time it's all about ball games, where the joy of playing, technique, and a sense of community are at the center. And it’s not just football we’re playing!
The camp combines:
Fun exercise and plenty of movement
Technique training tailored to the children's ages
Games, mini matches, and social activities
A safe environment focusing on teamwork and community
This is how MiniCamp – Ball Games works
The children start the day with energetic warm-up games and a series of light exercises. Afterwards, they are introduced to different ball sports and the basic techniques – such as throwing, shooting, passing, kicking, and fun tricks.
The training is designed for children of all skill levels
During the activities, there is lots of work in pairs and small groups, so the children practice cooperation, communication, and moving together on the field.
The morning ends with fun games and small competitions, where the children can use what they’ve learned – and most importantly: have fun!
Safe setting and skilled instructors
The training is led by experienced instructors who make sure every child is met at their level, feels safe, and has a positive experience, no matter their starting point.
