Experience history at Denmark’s largest history festival
Historiske Dage 2026 is coming to and around Øksnehallen in Copenhagen on the weekend of March 14–15, and you can secure your ticket already now.
Come experience history—get inspired, entertained, and discover something new. Across seven stages, you can attend 150 lectures, talks, debates, performances, and reenactments. Or explore museums, publishers, archives, and associations at the festival’s 75 stands. We’re already looking forward to it!
Historiske Dage is presented by Folkeuniversitetet in Aarhus.
Food and drinks
There will be light snacks and drinks, as well as lunch available for purchase in the hall. You can also buy a historical lunch in Øksnehallen’s restaurant ‘Vestauranten’ or from food trucks on the plaza.
Payment at the fair
You can pay with cash, Dankort, or MobilePay in the restaurant and at the various food trucks.
Whether the stands accept Dankort or MobilePay varies by exhibitor.
