DGI Byen has a close cultural partnership with Fotografisk Center (located in Building 55 on Staldgade 16), which operates one of Denmark’s leading art exhibition spaces. Fotografisk Center’s exhibitions feature groundbreaking contemporary photography and

Fotografisk Center organises five exhibitions a year featuring both Danish and international photography. The exhibitions shift in focus between a wide variety of themes, genres and design, and accordingly some are solo exhibitions and thematic exhibitions with bigger or smaller groups, including the annual presentation of young talents in the YOUNG DANISH PHOTOGRAPHY exhibition.

Fotografisk Center’s exhibitions also include talks, seminars, performances and much more. The centre also produces educational material for all its exhibitions.
